I did a bit of searching on Bruges Style doilies and I believe most are from a non-English book/magazine and they only have a chart to work from. can you recommend
a dollie pattern that comes with written instructions so to get the hang on how to make it ?? I've done a few dollies so can do .. I watched a few videos and I see how the ribbon is made.. but when I see a bruges item and it only has a graph with it, no clue how to start.. so where can I find a bruges dollie pattern online with written instuctions.. tks...

I hope, that the Magic Crochet or Decorative Crochet magazines have the written instructions. I know there are several Bruges style doilies in the issues. I read only charts. I think I have one book somewhere at home... maybe it has the instructions.
