A Birthday gift for a friend
I crocheted this for a friend for his Birthday. I was a bit scared to post the pictures after reading all the information about trade mark and copy right laws, fortunately, We have a friend that is a lawyer and she said that since it was a gift its is completely ok to post the picture. I didn't have a pattern I just crocheted by looking at a picture. It fits the top of king size bed

your project!
Hey MsBhaven, That is really a good project especially since you had no pattern. I don't think I could have done he letters without the pattern. You did a really super job on it. Patty ...I just got back from the heart doctor and I and I got a good report. My heart is doing OK and I found out that chocolate kinda sets off my chest pains. I need to leave chocolate alone MOST of the time. That is going to be hard...I love chocolate! Anyway I am back for the rest of the day. and no dr apptmts until November 28. Thank God! XOXOXOXO, Patty

thanks
He did indeed love it he is a huge UK fan and I found out only a week before his birthday he was admitted to the hospital for 3 days. when He got the blanket 2 days before his birthday he was still very week but was so happy to receive it as a gift. He has bragged about the blanket to his family who are all huge UK fans lol I have even been told that he tells everyone to keep their mitts off it. He was so intrigued with it that He had me show him what was concidered a row then he counted every stitch in one row and counted every row so that he knew exactly how many stitches were made to make that blanket. ( i don't even know that)

Your king size afghan came out beautifully. No pattern? You must also be a cross stitch buff. You've got talent.
