Long or short sleeves?

I have been very busy getting some spring sweaters and little shoes made and they are on my fb page https://www.facebook.com/justoffmycrochethook?ref=hl
Now I'm working on a little sweater but the pattern calls for long or short sleeves and I'm not sure if I should make it with short as then in my mind it is then a vest. What do you think?

Can you make half sleeves? There are a lot of times when you just want something in between. My girls had quite a few short sleeve sweaters when they were babies. Just a thought it looks adorable now !! Hugs Winnie

I love the idea of short sleeves for a summer vest, but do agree with sleeveless little dresses that a sleeve is really nice, especially for cooler summer evenings or just for cooler months. Very nice work.

I like the short sleeves, very springlike and gives it an added touch, especially with the different pattern. Love it!!!!
