Doilies I have made
Here are a couple of doilies I have made for no particular reason. Sometimes I use them and sometimes I just pack them away and let one of the kids pick what they like or can use.
Some of them are from vintage books/booklets I have and some are more recent patterns.

Those are beautiful doilies. I can't work with crochet cotton it's too fine for me to work with. I once did a round tablecloth with a pineapple pattern in fine baby yarn for a gift, it came out so well, I did one for myself.

Shelley, be careful when you start making doilies! You could end up with a bin full like I have. I think it is addicting!
BarbySue, I have lots of old books/booklets I inherited from my mother and try to pick a pattern from one of those occasionally. Sometimes the instructions are a "little" different from those written these days.

I recently ordered a "how to make doilies" booklet for beginners and I am excited to get started on my new projects.
Your doilies are gorgeous. You must have a lot of experience. Thanks for sharing.
