Here is a video that show how to crochet the butterfly. I do it a little different is that on last row I do five dcs and ch3 5dc in the section that she does 8dc,but you can make them different as you want.

I just made one with some leftover yarns and I will give it to my daughter. It matches the afghan I made for her new house.

I did not make the video.I was showing how to make the butterfly which it is a way to use up all left over yarns. I have made over 50 and given to all the people.
