Extravagant Doily.
Here is a picture of the pretty Extravagant Doily that I made. The color is Melon. The size is 14 1/2" diameter. The detail of this doily is beautiful.

I absolutely love this doily. I like heavier doilies as they keep their shape better. This is gorgeous!

Beautiful! I love doilies that have lots of detail. Some of the intricate doily patterns I see look hard but are actually not too bad to work as long as you pay careful attention when reading the chart or directions. Do you crochet from charts, or written directions? Or do you make up your own?

Mostly I crochet for written directions but a couple times from charts especially filet crochet. No, I don't make my own patterns for doilies.
