I used a pillow I already had that I didn't like anymore. You can make a pillow cover from old pillow slips that you no longer use. Or old sheets. then stuff them with a pillow form or anything else that can be washed if you want to be able to wash them. I sometimes make my own and fill it with cotton stuffing and then make the crocheted cover that can be opened on one side for washing. I don't know why old clean panty hose wouldn't work inside a cover you could sew. Then put the crocheted cover over it ...just make the crocheted one that you can take off and wash. . Lots of ideas! Love Patty

Pretty pillows! Recycle, re-use, rejoice, lol, always good to make something new of something old for some new decor!

    Very Nice

I really like your pillows! I especially like the 4th one.

Keep your eyes open for the new Interweave Crochet Home magazine...it's all about home decor instead of clothing. I have 3 pillow designs coming out in the magazine...2 of them any guy would like in his man cave, dorm room, bachelor pad, or den, the third one, with some lovely feminine colours would accentuate any modern shabby chic decor!

Patty, your pillows are just lovely. I love the colors that you used. I think I will make some pillows for my living room and for my bed. I am going for the native american look in my living room. I have a lot of Native American things in that room. I am also going for a Christian theme also. I have Christian things in that room also. For my bedroom I am not sure yet. You did such a wonderful job.
