Thank you Winnie. It is a log cabin pattern and I started it when we started camping this spring. It is my first granny square afghan. I made it for cary and the camper. Now starting a second afghan with the same colors but a different pattern for myself for the camper. Hoping to get it done before camling season is done in October.

    Redhead,

Had to laugh when I read your post. Yes it is a wheel rim. Us campers in Minnesota go all out, especially at the campgrounds when it comes to fire rings. None of these rings that have moose on them. Though our good friends/camping neighbors put retaing blocks around thiers to spiff it up. Thanks for the Sunday chuckle and the compliment on the afghan.
