Like I was telling winnie2013 got pattern from an old 1976 crochet book from my grand mother ( Vol. 790 ) columbia.minerva learn to crochet by gabriele knecht and it calls to keep fastening off to change color but I crochet over the color that I'm not using for that row. Jean Marie, not yet with crocheting I knit that's where I do my cablestitches. my grandmother taught me to crochet years ago had only made blankets. I would say about 5 yr's ago my mom taught me to knit . She was cablestitching and I loved the patterns so I wanted to learn.
