    GroovyGhan

this is a new (to me ) stitch technique I want to share . It could be used to make a ribbon style multy color afghan or to make a bargello style stitch that has dimension and texture ( the groove is along the diagonal formed by the spike stitch. Here is a swatch i did (in yarn ) that i will fold over and make a cell phone case out of. Look groovyghan up on google there are lots of examples and the instructions are there for free.

    Kitty,

Your GroovyGhan swatch is cool!! Love the fun colors you used too. What are you planning on making with this stitch next?
Thanks for posting. ~~ Hugs, Jo

That was a sample size pac of yarn ( lion brand bon bons in crayons color )so I dont have much to work with . I dont usually work in yarn, it takes up too much money and space . I do love lots of color and was checking out yarn last christmas, the sample was a present. Someday , I'll do a clutch handbag in that stitch.

    Kitty,

The handbag sounds great and would look very pretty in that pattern.
