Look What My Daughter Made for Me

Hi everyone. These are crochet hook reminder clips. You clip one on the last stitch of your project when you have to put it down and it reminds you what size hook you were using. I bought the fleur-de-lis charms with the clips attached at Walmart, bought some ABC beads, (all in the jewelry making aisle) and then our daughter Lori attached the beads using jewelry pins. She makes and sells jewelry. I just love them! And HER!

So cool! I wish I had thought of this a long time ago. There have been a couple of projects that I would stash away and bring out a few months later and just tear it all apart because I couldn't remember what size hook I used. Your daughter is very talented and creative =D

That is a great idea. I usually just poke the crochet hook through the project and leave it in (have multiple hooks because I work on more than one project at a time) but I love this way better. And it won't unravel accidentally too. Thanks for sharing.

    Hey Jo,

Those are soooo very pretty. I love them. You let your daughter know that she did a wonderful job. That is a great idea. Next time I go to Wal-Mart I will look so that I can make me some. Thank you so much for sharing it with us.

    Hugs,
    Debbie

    Hi Everyone,
Thanks for your comments. I'll let our daughter know you all like the clips. I've seen these made differently, but don't know where to buy them. They are really easy to make though. Give it a try!
