My sister's blanket
I started this blanket for my sister last summer. I am almost done!! Had to reorder yarn twice. I have really enjoyed working on it. I took a lacey crochet square pattern from a Japanese book and made 25 squares. I had to block each square before crocheting them together. Then I made up a pattern to crochet them together in the beige. I liked being able to work on the squares individually and not having to work on the big blanket except for putting them together and edging. I have not created the edging yet. More fun!
