You "duckie" blanket will make some little one very happy and they'll cling to it for a LONG time! Very nice work!

Dancing baehr-- sounds like we have the same thing in mind===Problem is I always made my Grand kids a Wedding afgan
and there are 2 left of marriageable age but neither right now is interested so planned on making 2 any way for the future!!
So if I decide to make future baby afgans still have 8 to go
Think Id better get my self going and stop talking about it LOL
Lets hope were all still here to see all the first great grands kids(with this new one I ll have two)

Hi Hestoria,
I never thought of making wedding afghans. What a nice present! Do you always make the same pattern afghan? I usually make filet name doilies for wedding gifts (last name only), matted and framed. Something they can hang in their new home. Yes, I hope you & I live long enough to see our great grand kids be born!
Hugs, Jo

Hi Again==No I made a different pattern for each one but they were always white--always told them its for the bedroom
Usually made lacy fancy ones
Tomorrow will look for baby a baby afgans to make for my future Great grand babies==Kind of lean to round afgans
can make all kinds of patterns and style with that pattern
Love the idea of framed doilies with the name Great idea!!

Hiya Jo,What a lovely idea.. I usually make a embroidered blanket for the babies born in my family.. It's with their names, wt., length, dob, etc.. It's amazing how many I have done and how they keep them and pass them down to their babies...I do wish I had some pics of them... Teresa

Thank you for the Pintrest pattern information==I love looking up new patterns
My files prove it---poor printer always needs ink LOL
The embroidery blankets are so pretty too-haven't done embroidery in a long time
In fact when I was a little girl -my Mom made me an embroidered cover for my doll carriage--still have it and that was
many many years ago--gosh that brings up good memorys!!!!
(hehe wont tell you how many years ago)
