I read somewhere that before you start to crochet take the yarn and loosen it up a little and put in a pillow case and wash it for and it will be soft, I wish I had know this before I started a poncho.

Hi Ginnie256,
This is a simple and easy afghan to make. You can do it!! Yes, we all make mistakes and have to frog it, but that is what makes us more careful in the next row. Because I have made big mistakes way back in my work and had to rip it back, I now look at each finished row, before going on to the next. That way, if I made a mistake, I only have to rip out part of one row. Hope this helps you.
