Project #2 & #3

Here are my two most recent projects. My sister-in-law gave me the burgundy yarn because she didn't need it so I'm going to surprise her with that set. That yarn was really hard to work with so that's why I did the accents with something else.
The other is a gift for my sister. I was orginally going to try to make a hat for her but then decided to do a headband instead. Since I have never attempted a hat, I didn't want to mess up the whole set if I couldn't figure it out. I am going to try to make a hat with the same yarn next so, if it turns out, it will just be an added bonus I love my new hobby - so fun!

They are so very pretty. If you go to the "Drops" pattern site they have some cute hats not to hard. You will need markers. Or pins will do. lol I can't put my hands on the pattern right now. I'll look for it and let you know. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you! I really struggle with reading patterns so even when something is "easy", it seems like Greek to me. I'll keep working on it though because there are a lot of things I want to make so I'll have to learn.

Love the colors, you will find hats are easy to do. If I can do thhem anyone can, they are my favorite thing to make, cause they are quick and easy to do.
