Lillian, I searched all over and could not find a crochet pattern for a glow worm. I did find this one, which is knit. Maybe you can look at it and make something like it in crochet. You could just do amigurumi rounds for the body in bright colors, like the glow worm toy. I'll keep looking, as I enjoy cruising on the internet.
Glow Worm Knitted Pattern
Here is a crochet pattern for a caterpillar that is pretty cute. From the pics I saw of the glow worm toys, they have big eyes and wear a cute little hat. I'll bet you could make this caterpilar and then do the face like the glow worm toy, and make a hat, too.
ChemKnits: Baby Caterpillar Toy
Since the glow worm has different colored stripes on the body, you could then make your blanket to match in the same color bright stripes.Last edited by buggainok; 09-28-2013 at 01:38 PM.

Lillian, I seem to be obsessed today with finding your worm pattern, lol. Here is a direct link to the cute baby caterpillar I talked about. I think I will make it for my little grandaughter:

Thank you so much,Annette---Have copied them all= they are so cute --even if they are worms LOL
Used to knit a while ago (before I learned to crochet) Guess I can still remember how
Just looking at them I could probably figure out an afgan with the patterns
Thanks again

That brings back memories! My daughter will be 31 in a few weeks and she had one when she was really young and used to sleep with it.
And Annette, the only way I like worms is for fishing!!! LOLDinah
