Thanks to all who answered my question BUT... I did not ask this question I needed help with a bag patteren. I figured it out boy was i embarassed when I did. To easy, I guess thats what threw me off.

Looks like the chevron stitch to me. That is what the zig-zag part looks like. Look up crochet sitches bible. It links you to a bunch of sites that show you different crochet stitches. Good Luck !!!

has anyone found the pattern for me for the afghan that spells out "GOD LOVES ME" done in squares of popcorn or cluster stitch with hearts on the ends and sewn together with a zig zag stitch?
