Yarn baby and buggy

Does anyone know or remember how to make the babies out of yarn? My mom who is 78 wants to make some for a baby shower but can't remember how, and I am not sure what she means. I know someone on here will remember.

All she can remember is you would wrap the yarn and somehow tie it to make arms,legs etc. Sorry I can't give you anymore info.

I remember those! I got one for Christmas once when I was little. If nothing else thank you for reminding me of a childhood toy and I even remember why mom made it for me. I might have to make one myself. thought I would add that mom made a cape and a apron for my yarn doll.
