Botah Scarf
I had a pattern at one time but I think it was called a SouthWestern Botah Scarf. It was a cowl that ended in a long point as if it were a Cowboy's bandana but not tied!
It was crocheted but I can't remember if it started at the point and you added a stitch at each end until you then added enough stitches to go around your head loosely and joined then did rounds til it was wide (deep) enough to cover your neck to your hairline like a cowl would.
