blanket pattern for a california king (crochet0
hi i am looking for a blanket pattern for a california king it is a surprise for my husband. birthday present, cause he says i never crochet him anything, but he forgets that i crochet him a scarf when we first met....LOL

Wow...large sized blanket. I would suggest making either large squares or strips and then sew them together. Good luck !

found the measurements
the measurements for a calfornia king are as follows
6" squares 12x14=168 sqs
9" squares 8x10=80sqs
12"sqs 6x7=42sqs

I crocheted a blanket for Our California King Bed. I used Of 30 Skeins of yarn (6 oz skeins ea.) It keeps us warm during the Blustery cold Wisconsin Winters. I believe it took me 6 months to finish it, but boy it was well worth it. I used a Granny square pattern for the design. Best of luck to you, and Post pictures when you finish.
