Crocheting helps me relax while also feeling productive.

I too crochet for many reasons,I need to keep busy and crocheting can be done even when I'm hurting and unable to concentrate on a new book...I pick one of the very mindless patterns and just crochet. It stimulates my brain, calms me down and brings me closer to God,who gave me a wonderful ability to create .It takes my mind off of the many things I can not change...and reminds me of all the blessings I have and can look forward to.

For me too there are many reasons that I crochet. One of the top reasons is that i t helps with my dexterity and coordination. My right hand gives me more trouble more often, I guess that's where my MS decided to stop by and aggravate me! lol I find alot of peace and happiness when I crochet and/or sew. I look at a skein or ball of yarn, a few yards of fabric and some time later they're either a scarf, sweater, skirt or whatever I decided to create!!
