the punch tool you are looking for is called a tambour hook, I bought mine thru jo ann's for about $10.00 on line. petuna

We sell the Sharp Crochet hook in our Etsy store as a single hook and combo packs but I am out of the combo packs right now. But we also have the skip stitch blades for larger projects that are great for making crochet holes.
