I believe she is referring to a flower that has dimension and is not flat like an applique. A flower that you can put in a vase or one that looks life-like. I always recommend freecrochet.com and I think I saw some in Red Heart Yarn | Yarn, Knitting Patterns, Crochet Patterns Good luck!!
