Hopes here for a speedy recovery. I like the window-shopping idea!

SPEEDY RECOVERY! Can you type with one hand? Look up all the patterns that are new to you so when you can crochet again you won't know which pattern to crochet first. Every cloud has a silver lining.

Oh no! Ok, then besides resting, think what u can do. organize ur patterns n stash. doodle down some designs. Actually read a crochet book or mag, not just skim through for patterns. Watch videos of new stitches. some of those classes have so much more info than just a pattern. Learn how to read symbols, or fix mistakes, or math for making adjustments.

I know, ur itching to actually DO it not just watch. But when ur back crocheting, u will pick up the stitch really quick if u've been watching about it.

And if u don't feel like doing any of that, just rest, u deserve it!
    Crochet with joy.

Hey Don, how about teaching your wife to crochet while you are laid up??? I know she doesn't want to but it would be fun for her to learn and you would get your crochet addiction fed! Good luck and I hope you heal well and fast!

Hope that you heal quickly and well. And I've been complaining because I have bronchitis. You just put things into perspective. Feel better soon!
