chicken hat

Well, hello all! Its been awhile since I have had time to post. I did finish the chicken hat that all were helping me to make. I am happy with it..(I think)..hahaha..This is for a teenage girl who absolutely loves chickens and has a style all her own. Her family told me she would so want and wear a "hen" hat so I decided to take on the challenge..With your suggestions...this is what I came up with...oh and also her favorite hen is brown...just another oddity to the project..lol Since then I was told that the bow had to go so it is no longer on it..good thing I just pinned in on as an afterthought to additionally confirm that it was a hen..not a rooster...lol...

Christmas I think...This is my son-in-laws sister...hahahahaha....and Thank you! I tried...either way I feel accomplished since there was not a pattern anywhere for a hen..rooster maybe...hen...no way...I had to even google the difference in look for a hen cause I had no clue...Do you remember this discussion months ago?? hahahahaha
