hey Theresa i am the same way When i was in high school many moons ago i made my owen vest and all i did was to measure around my hips and when i got to the aem hole i just skiped stithes and tried it owen before for leangth and when i got to the bust i staeted decreasind . what im saying is keep trying on the garment and measuer it . take down the instrutions so next time you dont have to keep measuring . funny you mentioned it because i was going to make me one after the holledayies . But that was something easy. Start easy thinhs and go from there. mona Merry Christmas
