I'm in, I'll go to that site to get the pattern. Is someone going to collect all the hats or do we send them in ourselves. This could be our project for Nov.

Well my sister has adopted a soldier. And he is the one that requested the hats. So I figured we could make alot up and I could get the address from her or give them to her to send.. How does that sound? If you need my address please send me a private message

I'm with you Landon. Can't serve but I do know how to knit. Problem is, I am extremely allergic to wool. That's why they make no-latex gloves. With them, no problem!

Christa, can you firm out this arrangement? We send it to you and then you send it to the soldier? When is the deadline? Is this for particular soldiers or for a site that sends them on to a group? details please

Ok well lets get a deadline of the end of November.. And I don't have a origination to give them too. What I want to do is since the guy my sister knows is requesting them. I figured we could make up as many as possible and she could send them to him and he could hand them out to the guys in his area. Cause the way I hear is if one guy is wearing one then others want one.
And the reason they are asking for wool ones if because it don't burn like acrylic. And they are usually warmer..I hope this helps.

Yep, sounds good and I like that we know that one specific man is getting them and he personally will hand them out. Soon as I get some wool I'm in. I have the pattern.
