I'm hoping that someone here can give me some ideas that might work. I just got back into crocheting, as you know, but many, many, too many years ago I was learning how to knit. By the time I would have 5 or 6 rows done there would be like a foot long piece of yarn connecting the two needles. It seemed that nothing I did would correct that so I just gave up on it. So, since my theory is that I'm not going anywhere until I finish all of these afghans.....maybe I should knit one just because it will take a long time. I've seen places where they said you could change a crochet pattern into a knit pattern or the other way around. Anyone got any ideas? Or, if no ideas there, how would I get rid of that long string between the two needles in my knitting?
Much love and peace
Karen

I just received an email from Mary Maxim. They have sashay on sale, internet shopping only, for $3.97 and it comes with five free patterns! I just might have to place an order.

Ladies, I found a yarn that looks like the sashay at Herrschners. It's Herrschners Sundance Holliday Frill Yarn. On sale for 4.99. 32 yards. Has some metalic in it. There's also a free pattern for a pretty apron at the site. (I've ordered from them several times, and they're very quick and good).

I have ordered from Herrschners for many years. I think they are very reliable.
