I took a skein of yarn from my yarn pile and like the material so much I am making a scarf for me. It is soft and shiny. I bought it at Goodwill and there was no label.

When I went through my bin (s) of yarn I found another skein of the yarn I used for my scarf. I will make one for someone for next year.
I started a Granny Square afghan so I could keep busy. Purple and white.

Crocheting for the homeless.
Hi girls this winter my project is crocheting for the needy and the homeless. Some one donated a full bag of colors of yarns. And a big box of colors of yarns in my front door. Beautiful colors. So I am crocheting several scarfs and beanies hats for childerns and adults. I put also scriptures to lift up their faith in God. It snows over here in Idaho. So this winter is going to be a bad one. My heart goes out to the homeless. I have Fed and house several families in the pass until they get back in their feet. This year my budget is small each month so I am crocheting this yarn that the good Lord has bless me with. So I am blessing other to kept them warm at least. This winter.
Merry Christmas every one and a Happy New Years 2018

I hope the recipients of your scarves and hats appreciate your efforts, but I'm not holding my breath. It takes a lot of suffering to see that others are helping us, somewhere, somehow, all the time and yet we are blind to it - whether we are rich or poor or with or without a home. I think that ingratitude is the sin of all time.
Thanks to crochettalk, its founders and supporters.
