Piecing together
I have always avoided projects that have to be pieced together. Going against my better judgment, I took on a project as a surprise for a friend.
My question is, do you prefer to piece together with a crochet hook or a darning needle ??Last edited by Hookn_in_tx; 08-13-2018 at 06:07 PM.

Hi,
Why don't you try 2 squares on one side with a needle and the other side with crochet and see which one pops.
I think it is a personal preference and you are the artist so whichever one you choose you can't go wrong.

The Whip Stitch w/a needle is the easiest.

I agree with Jean Marie but try each and do what is easiest for you. You did a great job.

love your granny squares, sunflowers have always been my favorite flower
personally I prefer a needle using a whip stitch on the wrong side of my work, then I weave the end in essentially saving me a step but I agree with the others in that it is a personal preference. I do a lot of stuffed animals/dolls that always require piecing/sewing the parts together and in most cases crocheting the parts together is not an option.
