Debbie macomber Rainbow Poncho
I am interested in knitting the Debbie Macomber Rainbow Poncho.
The directions say to Knit Row 1 & 2. Row 3: K3, YO,K across. Then you change colors every 6 rows . Does this mean I have to cut and weave in new color every 6 rows?
If someone has made this, is it knitted like Grandma's favorite dishcloth from side to side?
Thank you.

Hello,
I personally do not knit, but there are some here in the forums who do. Is this a free pattern found on the internet? If so, you are more than welcome to add a link here so others can take a look at it.
Thank you!

Hello NanaW, I taught myself to knit by watching you tube videos so I am not an expert. I crochet a little better. I knitted my first baby sweater in stripes I carried the yarn up with me so as not to have to weave in the ends as I changed colors every 2 to 3 rows. Changing colors every 6 rows it might be easer to cut the yarn a couple of inches and weave as you go.
I found this link for you that shows you different ways to change colors.

I found it interesting (after the fact) ha ha,
I hope this helps you.
