yarn
I usually crochet with a 4-ply yarn but am crocheting with a thinner yarn. I unraveled the end of the yarn and it looks like 3 or 4 strands of yarn. It's about half the thickness of the other yarn. It's harder to crochet with a thinner yarn.
I crocheted 1 row with the thin yarn. Now I'm crocheting with 3 strands of yarn - making a loop with the yarn and crocheting with the loop held together as one and also the yarn from the skein - 3 strands of yarn and when you've crocheted to almost the end of the loop put the yarn from the skein through the loop again. The 3 strands of yarn make it puffy when you crochet.Last edited by Jean Marie; 02-05-2018 at 06:17 PM.
