    This will work any time you need to join a different colour of yarn regardless of the project.

    I don't make knots in my handiwork. I use a Russian Join or the Braideed Join.
    Knots have a way of coming loose and the fabric gets strained at the point of the know and sometimes gets a hole there. A video showing joins including these two is shown on uTube.

    Hi crocheters! Thanks for all the ideas and thoughts. Does anyone like crochet mystery novels? I have found a couple neat ones and have learned a lot from the between the lines. Bette Heitchman writes a great read about a middle age woman like me in a crochet goup. Fun.Izzy just married her long time love in another series focusing on her yarn shop in Massachusettes. Of course her girls crocheted a large delicate round shawl for Izz. How about some more? And thanks for the lovely info and contact with wonderful crafters like all of you. Birdqueen
