Can you use cross stitch yarn for crochet

Naknik14, What exactly do you mean by that question. Are you asking if you can make crosses with yarn in crochet? Or are you asking if you can use yarn when you want to do cross stitch? (if this is what you mean ) Yes you can if the pattern calls for it. I made a stamped cross stitch crib cover for my grandson. It was with yarn his mother picked it out and asked me to do it as she didn't know how. It was stamped with flowers and baby animals.
