For those just beginning to crochet, here is a video on how to crochet single crochet.

Hint: With this stitch you will learn about tension while crocheting. You don't want the chain too tight and you don't want the chain too loose. It is important to practice this type of chain consistently to get your tension consistent throughout your crochet piece.
