I guess it doesn't help to crochet when you're tired.

Yep I see it, but I did have to look it over a few times. Looks cute anyway!

what does between the posts and the next post mean on round 3? Is it just below the space or stitch right below the sc by the spike stitch or is it between the 2 yarns of the post or dc stitch? I'm crocheting just below the sc stitch just made right by the spike stitch. What do you think?

This is the pattern: Magic Rainbow Baby Blanket: Free #Crochet Pattern!

If you scroll down, rows 8 and 9 tell how to put the squares together. I'm not making a baby blanket. I have a few large squares. This pattern square, I want to make into larger squares for a lap blanket and other large squares/lap blankets and then when I think I have enough large squares I want to bring/take them to the nursing home near here. Maybe the lap blankets should be a rectangle instead of a square. Anyways, I don't know if I'm going to make all the squares with this pattern for this big square/lap blanket.

The 1st picture of the square I made w/a mistake - do you think that it would be o.k. to put in the lap blanket?
Maybe I'll block it and stretch it into a square. What are your thoughts?

The square w/the mistake I took out and this is what I ended up with

I had to cut some of the yarn. Well, I have a circle to start with.

And was Crochet Talk updated? This is a different screen. I was used to the other one.

Only God makes things perfect I'd use this one as a trivet on the table I would not frog it. If I make a small mistake I leave it its what makes it unique.

The mistake one is really cute, but I'm thinking it would stand out too much in a lap blanket. If it were me I would not use it either. It would keep staring me in the face taunting me that I had a "boo-boo" in there.
