I wonder why crocheting is a dying craft among the younger generation?

It is not being taught. I worked at a school and because I crocheted a lot the Home Ec teacher had crochet for a 9 weeks. I also take the time to teach my granddaughters, only one is interested

I hope she sticks with it I get more enjoyment out of crocheting than a stupid phone or video game.
