Hiding carried yarn

I've just finished a shawl where you change colors every two rows and carry the yarn. The problem is now I have a long line of loose loops along half of the top edge. Does anyone have any ideas on a pretty, minimal edge I can go over these with?

The shell stitch always looks nice on most shawls for a trim and is really easy to do. You can search and find tons of trims to choose from too! Good luck!
