    Doily help!!

I'm working on a doily as a wedding gift for a friend. So far I haven't had any real problems, but this one small part of the row I'm on is really stumping me. Here's the section that I can't figure out: sc in next sc, ch 2, sc in second chain from hook, [ch 1, sc in front and back leg of last sc] 3 times (small strip made).

It sounds simple enough, but when I do it its not a pretty strip at all, it looks like a mistake. I'm assuming by "leg" they meant "loop", as I've never heard of a front and back leg of a sc. But maybe I'm wrong? I tried to insert a picture of what my "strip" looks like, but we're on a long drive so I'm just on my phone and the site is wigging out when I try to insert the picture... Help!!

I know how to crochet into the front or back loops of a sc, that's not the problem. I'm crocheting into the front and back loops but the strip still doesn't look right.

kelseyak Hello, I cant understand after seeing that link why you still are having trouble. Try a patch and test it again with a video. Dont give up. I wish you could video while you do this and we could see why. Best of Luck. Susan2014
