    crochet baby dress

I have a pattern that is translated to English from Norway.......I want to know if anyone can explain this for me: what does skip 1 dc, 1 dc in next dc +1 ch x 4) mean in crochet

I am assuming that it means skip 1 dc, 1 dc in next dc, plus 1 ch 4 times?

I think it means the x4, you do that same stitch (skip 1 dc, 1 dc in next dc +1 ch) 4 times. So after you do one set, you do it 3 more times.
