    current project

Just now finishing a slouch hat for my daughter. Not quite sure how to fix it. It's a little loose and she thinks I should just add another row and decrease a little, but I'm thinking that's going to make it even slouchier than it is now (it doesn't look as tight as the pattern.) You're only supposed to decrease on the last row according to the pattern, so I'm thinking of ripping out the last row and figuring out a way to lose 7 or 8 stitches. Any suggestions?

What I have been working on.

What Project Are You Working On?-image-jpgWhat Project Are You Working On?-image-jpgHere is a picture of the coat I finished for my friend fo this coming Christmas. It was made with the pattern Winter White Coat it was originally published in Crochet! magazine November of 2008. It is also avaliable from e- pattern central. The main part of the coat was done with Red heart Shimmer yarn and the trim was done with buttercream Boucle' black rainbow from JoAnn's.I held two strands together for the trim. Attachment 14660

Our group, Precious Pals, makes lap blankets which measure 35"-40" x 50"-55". The hospice we support has asked for all ghans to be that size.
