I made a belt last night and took it out. It was actually a chainless foundation - I did yarn over and pulled yarn through stitch so I had 3 loops on hook and then through one loop and then through all 3 loops like she did on the video.

My grandson wants mittens, rainbow coloured mittens. Lucky for me I have the yarn and can get started on them soon. I also want a crochet border to a fleece throw I have. I received yarn and a whole bunch of crochet hooks for Christmas so I have plenty to work with right now.
