I really like this, will have to check it out. I like doing by graphs, but when doing clothes you have to do a gauge swatch with yarn and hook sz to be used in pattern, so you get a good fit. Just a helpful hint....

The numbers in green are the size in Spanish measure, the numbers in gray are centimeters according to sizes, the diagram in green shows you how many rows of motifs you will need to make the top, hope it helps, all you need is to figure out how many motifs you will need to do acording to your size following the pattern , the pattern gives you 2 rows worked starting at # 1 back and forth, so you need to figure out how many of them you need , and the neck has 25 cm opening, hope it helps
