Help with Angel Baby Crochet Afghan Pattern

Help with Angel Baby Crochet Afghan Pattern-blanketangl-jpg
    Hi,
    I am following this pattern
to make an angel blanket. I think I did correctly till row 12, row 13 which is the angel head(Cluster) does not look right. there is too much space bet row 12 and the cluster in row 13. Would someone please let me know what I am doing wrong. it certainly does not look like the att.pic on the pattern. Thank you, really appreciate your support. Angel Baby Crochet Afghan Pattern

    Hi Vina,
I checked out the pattern. It seems to be similar to filet crochet with some texture variations (clusters) to make certain parts (namely, the angel heads) pop out as if 3D. Although I have not crocheted this pattern myself yet, I think I understand it well to make an observation. It appears that the "ch2, work cluster in next stitch as follows..., ch2" all happens 2 rows above where the top of the angel's dress (neckline) is done. Therefore, if the space between the cluster (head) of the angel and the neckline of the dress appears to be too big a gap, I would try working the cluster in row 13 into the corresponding stitch in row 11 instead of in row 12. This will effectively close the gap between the neckline and the head. I hope this helps.

The baby afghan pattern that your are in the middle of making is gorgeous! I don't think that I could ever crochet anything that is that advanced. I usually make my crochet patterns as I go and they are very simplistic! Do you ever sell these beautiful afghans??? Scooters
