nylon crochet thread
Did anyone crochet with nylon crochet thread? How do you like it. Do you know of patterns to make little purses. At the gift shop in the Dell's they wanted $20 and $25 dollars for a little crocheted bag out of nylon thread. Didn't look that hard to make. Looked like granny squares --one for each side. and crocheted together. Wondering the best way to make closer for top. Seen thread at walmart and Amazon on line. Wondering if anyone has a preference for thread and hooks. Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

I'm also interested in knowing more about using nylon thread. Is it slippery on your hook?

I have used the size 18. It just works up like worsted with a 5.mm hook. Try La Spiga. They have patterns and many sizes of yarn also the best color selection. Knitting Warehouse has the size 18 at a better price by Iris but not so many colors. Hope this helps.

Is this thread for smaller hooks? I have never seen it. Is it like the tread crochet "yarn"?
