Easy stich for beginners in knitting

I needed to know this. Off and on the past couple of months, I've been working on trying to teach myself how to knit. It's fun but I'm really not doing a very good job lol. I haven't made anything, just practice swatches with different size needles and types of yarn. I'll see my mom the week of Christmas and she'll work with me and help me with it. She's an excellent knitter!

Hello Pixieglitter, I know how you feel, I am in the same boat as you, trying to learn how to knit this is a very simple stitch even for me and I made 2 cowls and I am so happy of my accomplishment, I am glad you liked!
