grandson not gaining weight

JUst heard from my son They started the medicine and my grandson did real good. They will be there until Friday just to make sure he will tolerate it.

It breaks my heart to hear this. I have had some really bad times with my health in the last several years, but I would gladly take the illness of a child. Caiden will be on my mind often every day, and I will pray for his health, his doctors and everyone who takes care of him and for all those who love him.

I am praying for Caiden, his father and their family. The doctors at Children's Hospital, here in Cincinnati are wonderful. Two of our granddaughters had to go there for feeding tubes as babies. They are both very healthy now. But, I understand Caiden has other problems too, which I pray will be healed by our loving God. He hears all of our heartfelt prayers.
I'm so glad your grandson did well on the medicine. Please keep us posted.

Thank you so much. Little Caiden is only a year old. He was born with hyperplasia a form of dwarfisim. I Don't know how to spell it but he was also found to have brittle bone disease. They have a hard time getting him to drink from a bottle so they had to put a feeding tube in his stomach and it still is not helping. He just don't seem to be gaining the weight he needs for his length and if he don't start to gain it could do damage to all his organs and his heart and brain. He is my inspiration though because all that he has been through he is still the happiest little baby I ever saw. Always smiling , playing and making sounds. He is my precious little angel and so are my other grandkids.

I am praying for your family. I pray that he has a doctor who is a specialist and has seen these problems before and knows the best treatments for his problems.

Thank you for your prayers. Yes, they have a speciaist in Akron here in Ohio. That doctor also called a highly respected specialist from over in Europe to consult with. Right now they are in Cincinnati where he is starting a medication for the bones to help strengthen them. He is also a good specialist so they could not ask for better doctors and they are doing all they can for him. I have given all my children and grandchildren over to God and so now it is in God's loving hands and His will

That is the best thing to do in a case like this. God will not give us what we can not handle. He is the answer to all we need.
