novelty yarn

Oh, boy! I just got a package from Mary Maxim. I ordered some Mary Maxim Fabulous and Estelle Twilight. They are net type yarn. Is yarn plural or is it yarns? Supposedly you can make a scarf from one skein. Any pattern ideas, anybody. Only one I've seen so far was knitted. I need a crochet pattern. If I have to experiment, I'll let you know how it turns out. May end up another cat toy! So if you can rescue me before that happens, thank you in advance! This is absolutely the last yarn I am ordering. I am NOT NOT NOT going to order anymore. ( Nobody saw my fingers crossed behind my back, did they?)
