Celtic Knot Squares- a lot of fun!, little strips waived together

    Celtic Knot Squares
When you will click on that link. If you would like to find out what others did... Click on that little tap on top on that page. It says:"225 projects". That is if you like to "play" with strips.. LOL
You can make a squares out of that. Sew them together and than make a bigger square..I guess you can do a lot of things with that. I have seen a bag-purse made out of those 4 squares, it looked very nice. You can make a pillow also

While ago I did made hotpad/ hotpot using that technique. The difference was, my Celtic Knot came a lot bigger. Because I crochet 2 rows of dc on each strip.
I will post my hotpad as soon as I will find that picture

    Here are two pictures below.

    My Celtic Knot hotpad

It came out 7,5" on each side. But, like I mentioned above my was crochet 2 rows of dc in each strip.
I give that to my daughter. She is using that as a hotpad.
But, that can be made to a square also, with couple rows around. It would make a nice big pillow out of 4 of them. Obviously not out of that yarn or that color..LOL

Your hotpad is really cool. Love the double rows, gives it a lot more depth.

As long as there are written directions, I am fine. Just find it tedious to try and decipher diagrams. Not a fan of them.

    Thanks for sharing the link.

Hello Roe and you are very welcome
I don't read crochet diagrams either. I know it would be good to learn. I will someday...I hope! LOL.

    Hi Krys,

I have made these hotpads and love the pattern. Here is one I made and kept for me. It isn't as wide as yours. I like yours better!

Hello Jo and thank you very much
Your hotpad is very nice. As for the with, maybe you were using different yarn. Mine was Sugar&Cream and I did crochet that tight. Well, not very tight but tight.
