I did it!! It's super for getting rid of those little gaps around the edges. I'm making another prayer shawl and this trick makes the edge so much neater, thank you!

This is a great method. Thanks for sharing it. When I do the turning chain, I chain 1 less that the instructions call for and I make my first stitch into the base of the turning chain. It gives a very nice firm edge. I started doing this years ago when crocheting garments. You need a firm edge for sewing pieces together or you get weird holes in weird places. I will try this also. What an awesome idea. I have been experimenting with different ways to eliminate that "hole and bump" for years and was never successful. Thanks for the video showing the perfect way to make a nice straight edge. Hugs, Shelly
